Alicia Flores

Alicia Flores, an Austin native and proud Teach for America alum, is dedicated to empowering students and families to achieve their dreams. Previously a middle school math teacher and college coach, Alicia has worked tirelessly in and out of the classroom to guide young minds toward brighter futures.

With more than 10 years in the college access sector, Alicia brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role at FFLV. As a first-generation college graduate, she deeply believes in providing students with the tools and options to navigate life after high school. Her journey fuels her commitment to leveling the playing field for all students and ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.

A lover of culture and exploration, Alicia enjoys traveling the world to immerse herself in diverse traditions and perspectives. When she’s not exploring new countries, you can find her bowling every Wednesday, a weekly ritual that lets her unwind and connect with friends.

Alicia is thrilled to bring her expertise and passion to her new home and looks forward to making a lasting impact on students as they take their next big steps in life.

Alicia’s work is inspired by her favorite quote:

“I would like people to think of me as someone who cared deeply about the equality of women and men and about the equal treatment of all people under the law.” – Ruth Bader Ginsburg
